Fucking Mother Fucker Fuck The Departed!
Oh My Fucking GOD! You know when you went to see the movie Alexander and they had Alex full-on macking on another half naked guy and you couldn’t help but squirm? Or how about in the Ladykillers where everyone freaking DIES! Except in the Ladykillers they at least pull it off in style and you don’t really like the guys who die anyway.
The Departed is a movie about rats and cops. Long story short, a rat is in the police force and a spy is in the mob, and they’re both trying to find each other, only to all get shot in the end! On top of the rat and the mole, the head boss turns out to be an FBI informant who had more than one mole in the police force, who was friends with the rat, who went to the police academy with the mole, and they all fucking die in the last 5 minutes of the movie! Fuck! The rat—who was sleeping with moles girlfriend—catches the mole, and the FBI informant shoots the rat, and the mole shoots the informant, a random guy gets shot, and then finally the mole gets shot in his apartment by the x chief of police, who resigns.
WTF!

I saw The Departed it was good to me. A very well put together movie. Good characters. Good story. Is the ending all you didn't like?
That's the point the entire movie was set up to be a good movie, I was talking with my little brother that this was a good movie even as Leo was getting in the elevator with Matt, and we were talking about how we might buy the movie. BUT THEN...!!!!
OH MY LORD if anyone in Hollywood ever pulled off a complete 180 turn around it was this movie! It's like in mid sentance this movie went from a pretty good movie to a WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!! And I was pissed the entire night because of it!
Am I an ass? I really liked it. I wish Mark Wahlberg had gotten more respect from the academy; he kicked ass. But the movie is not Scorcese's best. I would call it a tie between Mean Streets and Taxi Driver.
Someone please tell me what it was about that movie that people seem to all agree makes it a good movie?????
It would have been a great movie if Leo would have caught the rat, or killed him, married the girl and everyone would have lived happily ever after and I could have had a good sleep that night.
But NOOOOOOOO everyone had to GET SHOT!!!
Twist endidng are the best. When the movie hit you with something you never expected. I like Sixth Sense, The Others, and Unbreakable. I love those type of endings.
It's the first in a trilogy. The story continues. That's why it's good.
